Jacques Mommens Seed Exchange Information: We offer mostly Primulas and a small selection of other primulaceas. The seeds came from a number of private and public sources. As a rule, we indicate the source of all the seeds, in the list and also on each individual packet you will receive . When seeds with identical descriptions come from several sources, we don't always specify the origins in the list, but a unique source will always be indicated on each packet: we never mix seeds of different origins. Seeds are listed using the names given by the donors. Only in rare occasions did we replace them by more currently accepted synonyms. We made no attempt to verify the authenticity of the seeds. Obviously seeds from named forms and hybrids do not necessarily come true. “ex” is always implied. The seed exchange is open to all APS members in good standing. There will be a main distribution and a surplus distribution. Orders will be filled in order of arrival, with donor orders processed first. The main distribution will start on January 15 or as soon as we have received 30 orders, the surplus distribution one month later. Orders cannot be accepted after March 20, 2005. The seed list will be posted on our WEB site www.americanprimrosesoc.org, where it will be updated during February and March. For these members who have no access to our WEB site we shall print a Surplus list. It will be mailed after February 1, 2005 to those who ask for it and send us a self addressed self adhesive label. Members are advised to send their orders as soon as possible. For the main distribution members who donated seeds to the exchange may order up to 35 packets, non donors are entitled to 25 packets. One can order up to 3 packets of any given seed. However some seeds are in very short supply: in such cases we shall impose a limit of 1 per order. We encourage members to indicate substitutes and second choices. Please understand that this is a seed exchange, not a mail order business. One of our primary goals is to allow many members to have a chance to obtain and try rare or unusual seeds. We try to match as many requests as possible with existing supplies. Therefore, while following the rule "first come, first served", we also take pending orders into account. There will be no refunds for any selection that cannot be filled. We shall provide the total number of packets that you have ordered though, using our own judgment when the supply of what you have selected is exhausted. We would like to thank all the seed donors who made this exchange possible. Very special thanks go to Ruby Chong and Richard Austin, who obtained the necessary phytosanitary certificates required by the USDA to import seeds into the USA. If you have questions about this seed exchange, please send them to: APS Seed Exchange, PO Box 67, Millwood, NY 10546 or by e-mail Jacques Mommens Access the APS 2004-2005 Seed Exchange List HERE.
